God has been worshipped here for over 150 years. It is an area which grew up quickly from the 1850s, and so the life of the community soon developed; and right at the heart of that was Holy Trinity Church.Holy Trinity Church, Watermoor

Our congregation today is drawn mainly from our local area; but many who come from other parts of the town and beyond, feel drawn to the worship and the fellowship.

We work hard to make the welcome here a really warm one, and whether you are 9 months old or 90 plus, or any age between, you will find others to share with. The welcome at Holy Trinity is very special and many people choose to worship there because of it.

We are part of the greater whole of the Cirencester Parish, and yet we feel that we have something special of our own as well. God has poured many blessings on our Parish and town, and in all of that we do feel particularly blessed at Holy Trinity Church.

Every Sunday there are two Eucharistic services, one said at 8.00am and a choral service at 10.00am except for the first Sunday in the month when an all-age service is arranged. As there is an Evensong every Sunday at the Parish Church, there is an opportunitiy at Holy Trinity to offer alternative forms of worship such as 'Songs of Praise' or 'Taize'. There is also a mid-week Eucharist on Wednesdays.

Hymns are chosen from the New English Hymnal and from Mission Praise. Unlike the Parish Church, the choir at Holy Trinity prefers not to robe. At the all-age service the singing is led by a group of musicians always ready to welcome additional talent.

Adjoining the church is Watermoor Primary school which caters for children aged between 4 and 11 years of age.

There is also a church hall, available for a variety of functions, parties and meetings.

Our Associate Vicar, the Reverend Warwick Heathcote, lives next door in the Parsonage with his family.
