The shorter length pews have been stored on the scaffolding tower The double length pews, from the South Aisle have been sawn in half so that they can also fit into the tower stack.

The partitioning has been neatly fitted, floor to ceiling, within the column profiles

The Father Willis organ is due
to be dismantled and refurbished
too. In the meantime an electronic
organ has been temporarily
installed in the Lady chapel

Behind them the floor to ceiling partitioning keeps dust away
during the renovation of the
nave floor.

The viewing window allows a view across to the South door and porch. It also gives a good sighting of the construction of the old floor
